There is deliberately no weekend This pandemic has inspired us to create a dystopian concept for an interactive art collection. This collection is made up of 5 uniforms designed for people who have been locked inside for so long they have forgotten what day it is. There is deliberately no weekend – all the days have been blended together.This has all been inspired by a greatly exaggerated perspective of our current reality in the Covid-19 pandemic. The lock down has taken people away from their mundane ritualistic lifestyles and in some cases re-connected them with their youth by restarting hobbies – like the artist, with sewing, which was the origin of this collection. With that in mind I brought an element of youth to these designs using vibrant colours, symbols and shapes.
